SEA ANGLING: Thamesmead: Eddie Sharp reports flounders galore, although they are of mixed sizes.
Erith: There are lots of flounders here too but most of them are large fish.
Gravesend: Graham from Dolphin Angling reports the first soles of the season being caught, plus flounders, whiting and codling.
Greenhythe: School bass and flounders have been landed.
Grays Wharf: Codling, flounders and pin whiting have been providing sport.
Dagenham Market: Eels have been the only fish caught.
Rainham: Anglers have landed eels and the occasional flounder.
Boats: All the codling in deeper water seem to have disappeared but anglers aboard charter and private vessels have been catching roker, dogfish and a few decent bass to 5lb.
