SEA ANGLING: THERE have been decent catches in Thurrock this week, with the hot spots from the QE2 Bridge to Grays Wharf. Grays Wharf: Whiting and flounders, with codling after dark.
Stanford le Hope: Flounders, eels and pin whiting have provided sport.
QE2 Bridge: Good bags of whiting can be had from underneath the Dartford river crossing, although anglers are warned to be careful as there is a lot of flooding there.
Thamesmead: Eddie Sharp reports flounders and schoolies.
Erith: A few bass were showing at the weekend at Morrison’s Jetty, along with flounders and whiting.
Gravesend: Graham, from Dolphin Angling, reports bass, flounders, whiting and the occasional codling.
Greenthythe: Bass and whiting have been landed. Southend Pier: Whiting and bass have been joined by herring after dark.
