Competition in Kent tests Chadwell kickboxers

KICKBOXING: CHADWELL Kickboxing Club took four fighters to Kent for a competiton on Sunday March 17.

Newcomer Dylan Henry, fought in his first bout and produced an impressive performance to win.

The 17-year-old put on a strong display and forced a convincing victory win over his more experienced opponent.

Other younger Chadwell fighters were also on the card.

Danny Seymour, aged seven had his first competitive bout and won convincingly.

The victory also led to him recieving an award for junior fighter of the day.

Danny’s elder brother Tom Seymour, eight, also took part in his first competitive bout.

Unfortunately Tom just narrowly missed out on the win, but put on a couragous display.

Also Alan Seymour (the brothers’ father) was on his third outing.

He fought a bigger opponent.

The battle was intense for the three rounds and neither fighter gave ground – leading to a draw.
