RYMAN PREMIER: GOALS in either half gave Rocks a terrific win at Kingsmeadow.
They took a 10th-minute lead with an excellent strike from Sam Higgins, and they held that lead at half-time.
And the visitors doubled their advantage in the 66th minute with an equally good strike from James Lawson.
Dave Collis, who has just been signed from Billericay, impressed on his debut, and the returning Steve Sheehan played a big part in helping the Rocks keep a clean sheet.
It moved John Coventry’s side up one place to 13th in the table.
East Thurrock: Justham, Sammons, Stephen, Peddie, Sheehan, Collis, Lawson, Gilbey, Higgins, Bryant, Collins.
Gazette MOM: Dave Collis (East Thurrock).
