Martin Ling's return to Torquay is unclear

FOOTBALL: Torquay United have admitted they are unsure when manager Martin Ling will return to the club as he recovers from a “debiltating illness”.
The former Southend United midfielder has missed the Gulls’ last four matches and the Devon club is now looking for a coach to help assistant manager Shaun Taylor while Ling recovers.
Exact details of Ling’s illness have not been revealed, but he was taken ill three weeks ago and is receiving “specialist care”, according to the League Two club.
Ling played 136 games for Southend between 1986 and 1991, scoring 30 goals.
