Eastern Counties wins for three out of four fighters

BOXING: CHADWELL ABC coaches Scot Johnston and Steve Rogan travelled to Sudbury on Saturday with four of the club’s most talented boxers.
The youngsters were all competing in the Eastern Counties round of the National Schoolboy Boxing Championships.
The Chadwell team comprised 14-year-old George Hart (38 kg) Levi Lee, 14, (57kg) Jay Healy, 12, (42kg) and Jake Healy 12 (40kg).
Jake Healy beat Zac Lawson. The victory takes him through to the quarter-finals alongside Lee whose opponent pulled out and Jay Healy, who received a walkover. Team mate Hart gave a gutsy performance against Charlie Webb, from AllComers ABC, but lost by one point.
