Ex Blues manager applies to become Margate manager

NON-LEAGUE: Julian Dicks is one of many who’ve applied to become the new manager of Ryman Premier promotion-chasers Margate.
The former Grays and Wivenhoe Town manager put his name forward following the departure of Chris Kinnear, who has taken over at Conference South side Dover.
Margate yesterday revealed they’ve had approached Ryman One South’s Folkestone Invicta's manager and former Margate player Neil Cugley to see if he’d be interested in the position.
Margate have had more than 40 applicants for the job, which became vacant after Kinnear and his assistant Jake Leberl joined Dover Athletic on Saturday.
