YOUTH CUP: TILBURY made progress in the Lucas Fettes Ryman Youth Cup second round with a good victory over Leiston. In an end to end game played on a heavy surface, Tilbury went in to the break 1-0 up.

Danny Aldwinckle had scored after good build up play from the Tilbury Academy side. Tilbury made it two in the 85th minute when Jaszime Johnson latched on to a mistake to score.

And in the final seconds Aldwinckle slotted home his second to book progress to the third round.

Tilbury: Warren, Keiller, Lockwood (Osinoiki 59), Goggins, Ndumba, Benoit, Farrell, Donnelly (Marko 67), Aldwinckle, White and R. Johnson (J Johnson 59). Unused Isreal and Banks-Bayliss.
