RYMAN ONE NORTH: HEYBRIDGE SWIFTS were left in shock after crashing to an 8-2 defeat at home to Soham Town Rangers.

Mark Hawkes' side had started the day second in Ryman One North but saw their promotion hopes suffer a major blow after conceding five goals in ten minutes, during an extraordinary first half at Scraley Road.

Swifts are now fourth, having been leapfrogged by both Aveley and Grays Athletic.

Above them, runaway leaders MALDON & TIPTREE still have a ten-point lead at the summit after winning 2-0 at Chatham.
