So many rock bands today talk about how they just want to let their music do the talking - and then rely on gimmicks to sell themselves.

With Soliss there are no boiler suits, masks or dodgy makeup. What there IS plenty of is pure, unadulterated rock 'n' roll - drag racer riffs, V12-powered rhythms and truck-loads of energy. Soliss sound like the spiritual heirs of AC/DC blended with the catchy, sing-a-long hooks and good looks of McFly.

With a collection of all killer, no-filler original songs the Southend-based five-piece who formed in 2005 are earning themselves thousands of fans across the world. Even the most cynical observers soon find themselves unable to resist the classic blend of spiraling lead guitar, clattering drums, chunky rhythm guitar, pounding bass and passionate voice. Every gig is played like opening night at the 02, and a quick glance around the floor sees every foot tapping.
