Fly are a 4 piece rock covers band playing across most of Essex. Consisting of Drums, Bass player, Singer rhythm guitarist and a lead guitarist. We have been together in total for about 8 years with a change of a few members along the way but the set up at the moment have been together as a total of about 3 years.

TTHE VIOLET MIND is the newest musical outlet of 4 young Essex-based musicians. Individually writing and performing music constantly for 5 years or more and being inspired to start something original sounding and new, in late 2008 Tom McFarlane, Will Gatenby, Marshall Gregory & Jack Hobbs came together for their first (of many) 8-10 hour writing session, to try their hand at creating music for the first time, as a brand new 4 piece rock band.

The Vanity Clause is an Electro / Nu Wave trio from Southend-on-sea. Band members are Russell Harris, David Woods and Louisa Strachan. TVC have been in their current line up since January 2009, are already making a name for themselves on the London circuit and causing quite a stir locally.

So many rock bands today talk about how they just want to let their music do the talking - and then rely on gimmicks to sell themselves. With Soliss there are no boiler suits, masks or dodgy makeup. What there IS plenty of is pure, unadulterated rock 'n' roll - drag racer riffs, V12-powered rhythms and truck-loads of energy.

The band were first brought to the attention of Basick back in Spring '08 after receiving a copy of the critically acclaimed EP, 'Embryo'. The bands love for emotive, ambient, progressive metal has attracted attention from many quarters, having recently won them a spot on the Metal Hammer CD covermount, a 'Band Of The Week' spot on the Radio 1 Rockshow as well as the highly coveted Rock Sound KBY Band of the Month award.

THE RECEEDERS, one of Essex' premier Rock, Rhythm and Blues Bands formed in 1987. They have now played more than 2,000live shows. Founder member NICK BELL, on guitar and vocals has a long and varied musical past, currently featured in three historical books on the market, mainly centred on his days as road manager with Deep Purple and Badfinger.

Their main vocalist is Lee, an excellent vibrant front man with a huge personality and presence. His enjoyment of the stage will always shine through. For two years Lee appeared in a major production playing Buddy Holly and totally fronted his last rock'n'roll show touring the UK.
