Names released of two found dead in suspected chemical suicide

The man and woman found dead in a car yesterday in a suspected "chemical" incident, have been named as Stephen Lumb and Joanne Lee.

Police cordoned off an area of Springwood Drive Braintree, at about 8.25am yesterday after a worker raised the alarm.

An Essex Police spokesman said: "Essex Police has liaised with the Essex Coroner Mrs Caroline Beasley-Murray and an agreement has been reached that we will identify the two people found dead in a car in Braintree yesterday, Monday, September 20. They were Stephen Lumb, 35, of Charles Street, Sowerby Bridge in Yorkshire, and Joanne Lee, 34, from the White Court area of Great Notley, near Braintree."
