Officials have begun getting businesses in Camden up and running again as part of the arduous task of recovering from the massive blaze that swept through the market over the weekend.
Police remain at the scene of the fire in Camden and are working towards returning the area to normality where possible, Scotland Yard said.
Cordons have been reduced throughout the day in the immediate area to allow some business to re-open their premises to customers.
Five of the six markets in Camden are now open but up to 300 stallholders and employees are affected by the fire.
It is expected that Camden High Road will remain closed until Tuesday evening.
Police said firefighters were continuing to knock down or make safe the affected buildings.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation and could remain unknown for days because structural engineers still need to assess the safety of some of the buildings.
The London Fire Brigade's investigation team began initial inquiries on Monday by interviewing some eyewitnesses.
