Knife attack in Eltham

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was knifed on his doorstep in Eltham.

The 47-year-old man was stabbed several times in the abdomen by a white man after answering his door in Strongbow Crescent.

He made his way to Eltham police station and was taken to hospital where he is said to be in a serious but stable condition.

It is believed a woman might have been with the suspect when he carried out the attack between 1pm and 2pm on February 10.
