IS IT just me who is concerned or cares about Japanese vine weed?
Everywhere in Chafford Hundred – such as Lancaster Road and Clockhouse Lane – there are lots of trees being strangled by this weed.
If nobody does anything about it soon, within two years all the trees will be gone.
My husband was a gardener in Hackney for 33 years and they kept on top of it. Don’t the council gardeners care, or haven’t they noticed it?
I find myself looking everywhere I go now, it really is rife – even on the A13 you notice it. Please let’s get something done. – P BYRNE, Frobisher Gardens, Chafford Hundred.
