It's good to talk over school parking problems

I READ with interest your article on the council’s “School Car Blitz” (Gazette, April 13).
Maybe Denise Langan should visit during these times to see just how bad it gets and speak to those affected.
We had traffic officers placing cones in strategic places along Clifford Road and surrounding roads because of the problems caused by inconsiderate parents dropping their kids off and picking them up from Tudor Court Primary School.
As soon as the coning stopped, the parking problems returned.
Not only do these people think it’s acceptable to park on the pavements, they also see no reason why they can’t park on private driveways, assuming they are at work and would not be noticed.
We have had walls knocked down, deliveries unable to gain access to the area and, on one occasion, a relative having to park elsewhere in the pouring rain as a parent’s car was on my drive.
Tudor Court is now on its third extension, with the latest not due for completion until October. This will bring even more traffic to an already over congested area. – NAME AND ADDRESS SUPPLIED.
