Centenary celebrations were great

I WOULD like to thank and congratulate the Port of London, Lynda Viccars and Annie O’Brian for all their hard work organising a great day at Tilbury Cruise Liner Terminal last Sunday.

The open day was to celebrate the opening of the Tilbury and Chadwell Memories website and 100 years of Tilbury. Well done too to the people of Thurrock for supporting the day in such vast numbers. – SUSAN YATES, chairman, Thurrock Local History Society.
