How nice it was to see last week's Down Memory Lane article featuring Grays Station in what is believed to be the Edwardian times.
I recognised immediately the houses to the right of the picture (Maidstone Road), now Morrisons car park!
I lived at number 36 for the first four years of my life and can still remember the three-storey house that my Nan and Grandad lived in and where my Mum and Dad rented rooms.
I can actually remember the steam trains coming into the platform at Grays, which I could see from the window of the house.
Anyone else remember these houses?
My late Nan's name is Pinnock.
