Boy hit by air-rifle shot
POLICE are hunting the person who shot a boy with an air-rifle.
The 12-year-old boy was playing in Linnet Way, Purfleet when he was hit by the pellet.
He suffered a cut and bruising to his right elbow.
It is not known where the shot was fired from and police are appealing for witnesses.
Anyone with information about the incident, which happened at 2pm on Sunday, april 27 are asked contact police at Grays on 0300 333 4444.
