SHOES worth nearly £100,000 were stolen from a parked lorry.
The vehicle, from Hungary, was parked up on the A128 in Bulphan while its driver slept.
The thieves crept up, slashed the lorry's curtains and stole the haul of 73 boxes of shoes worth £97,000.
Witnesses to the theft, which happened between 8.15am last Wednesday, March 5 and 3.30am the next day, are asked to contact police at Grays on 01375 391212.
