A THURROCK woman who was held up as an example of how the probation service can help offenders is being sought by police after failing to turn up at court.
Charlotte Clarke, 20, is one of four on the latest wanted list released by borough cops.
She is wanted for breaching a court order for fraud and theft. In 2007 she featured in the Gazette as she made plans for a sponsored bike ride to raise cash for a trip to help other less fortunate youngsters in Africa.
At the time she was working with Thurrock’s Youth Offending Service on an Intensive Supervision and Surveillance Programme, after a troubled start to life. She has been in care since the age of four and arrested more than 80 times.
As part of the programme to rehabilitate Charlotte she was hoping to go to Africa in July to help other kids who have not had the best start in life.
Also on the list are Craig Richardson, 29, who is wanted for theft; Daniel Cucu, 19, also for theft, and Gary Tatchell, 41, wanted for using threatening behaviour.
If you have information about any of these call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
