Burglars flooded home

BUNGLING burglars caused £800 of damage during a botched break-in at a house in Vicarage Square, Grays.
They entered through an unlocked window and tried to remove a washing machine but caused flooding when they ripped it from the wall.
They damaged the wall as they tried to carry out the machine and eventually left it behind.
Anyone with information on the raid, which happened between 9pm on Tuesday, November 25 and 8.25am the next day, are asked to contact Grays police on 0300 333 4444.
