A TEENAGER accused of threatening to stab another train passenger will appear in court.
The 19-year-old from Tilbury was arrested by two off-duty police officers after he allegedly threatened to stab a commuter on the early morning train from London.
He was arrested at Pitsea railway station at Pitsea Hall Lane at around 5am on Friday on suspicion of using threatening behaviour likely to cause harrassment, alarm or distress.
The teenager has been released on bail and will appear at Basildon Magistrates’ Court later this month to face the charge.
