Police community pledge
*
Police in Thurrock are working with the public to reduce crime and Anti-Social Behaviour. District Commander Chief Inspector Alan Cotgrove (pictured)said: "Thurrock policing has undergone some radical changes during the previous year. Most significantly, the introduction of neighbourhood policing in June 2006, has provided teams of officers and Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs), dedicated to local communities at ward level. Wherever possible, we will attend all incidents of reported crime, provide high visibility policing to reassure the public and in partnership with other services, we will aim to reduce Anti-Social Behaviour and ensure our young people are engaged in useful activity."
