PRESIDENT Ted Haines welcomed members to the February meeting of the Club.

The meeting enjoyed a talk by Peter Thornton, project manager of High House Production Park at Purfleet.

Peter told of the development of the site from the derelict 14 acres of the old Vellacott farm land and buildings into the Production Park it is today, and how the site is being further developed with a new training and rehearsal building.

He also told of the completed restoration of the Grade II listed High House barn and gardens into a facility ideal for hosting local social and business events.

Member Fred Seal extended a vote of thanks to Peter for coming and telling the meeting about the project which is growing into a landmark site in Thurrock. The president reminded committee members of the next meeting to be held on Tuesday, March 6, at 11am.
