JULY has been a progressive month for the TWC.
Chairman Joy Ridgewell thanked Cindy Barker for the excellent tasks she has set for the group. Writing has improved.
Two members went for a five-day writing course at Ruskin College in Oxford and a further writing weekend is booked for September for nine more members.
Excellent work is being produced at each meeting – several members have written books and Barbara Spencer has written a play that she has submitted for approval.
Members are having a meal out and a social evening this month.
Meetings are held at the Hugh Delargy Close Hall, in Defoe Parade, Chadwell St Mary, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
