STAFF at Natwest Bank in Grays were so touched by an article in the Gazette about a little boy who needs a pioneering operation, they decided to help.
Oliver Holmes, 7, from Stifford Clays, sufferers from cerebral palsy, affecting his mobility.
He has been accepted for a life-changing operation, which is only available in America, and costs £40,000 .
Staff at Natwest raised £700 for his fund by rounding up their friends for a five mile sponsored walk.
The group want to thank the Fox Pub in Orsett Heath for providing refreshments as well as a donation.
