Spiritual haven to support rape and incest centre

THE Open Arms Spiritual Haven in Grays has decided to support the South Essex Rape and Incest Crisis Centre (SERICC).

The haven currently support Thurrock MIND and have raised hundreds of pounds since they opened in June 2008.

Haven organiser, Jay Gage, said: “We wanted to support a charity in Grays who may not be as high-profile as some, and provide a service we believe to be underfunded.”

The Haven meets every Sunday evening at Belmont Hall, Parker Road, Grays, at 6.30pm.
