MORE than 2,500 fans gathered in the central atrium of Lakeside Shopping Centre to catch a glimpse of cheeky Essex-boy Olly Murs.

The former X-Factor star was at Lakeside signing copies of his autobiography Happy Days.

Hundreds of fans, who had been queuing since 7am, had their book signed and got to meet the man himself.

Admirers were delighted as the double-platinum selling artist joked with them. Olly’s new album, Right Time Right Place is due out next month.
