Kids get driving at shopping centre

CHILDREN as young as 11 can get behind the wheel as part of a campaign to get youngsters ready for the road.
Young Driver will be at Lakeside Shopping Centre on Sunday, October 28.
The scheme offers 11 to 17-year-olds the chance to have a driving lesson with a fully qualified driving instructor in a new Seat Ibiza.
Using the top floor of one of the car parks, a specially designed course that replicates public roads gives youngsters the chance to learn how to use junctions, roundabouts and manoeuvre the car.
