Man charged over rape 21-years ago

A MAN has been arrested and charged with a sex attack alleged to have happened more than two decades ago.

A 19-year-old woman is alleged to have been sexually assaulted in Ayron Road, South Ockendon on Bank Holiday Monday May 27 in 1991.

This week Essex Police's Cold Case Investigation Unit arrested and charged Phil Collins.

The 53-year-old of no fixed address was charged with indecent assault and kidnap and will appear in court later this month.
