THE Trop Shop in Grays is celebrating after being voted the fifth best aquarium shop in the country.
The shop, in Orsett Road, beat off competition from nearly 2,000 other shops to finish in the top five of the vote, which is run annually by Practical Fishkeeping Magazine.
Ian Divers, who co-owns the business with Craig Wilsher, is thrilled to finish so high in the reader poll.
He said: “Last year was the first time we placed in the poll and we were 19th which we were really pleased with.
“We were hoping for a top 15 finish this year, so to come fifth is absolutely brilliant.Business is booming.”
