Civic Hall to host careers and education event

MORE than 60 businesses will take part in Thurrock’s first area wide careers and education event on Wednesday.
Schools and colleges in Thurrock will also be at the event, which is being held at the Civic Hall in Blackshots Lane, Grays, from 4pm to 9pm.
The event is open to anyone and aims to inspire young people in the borough, by giving them up to date information on career and education opportunities open to them.
Among the businesses attending are Santander, Royal Opera House, Park Inn, Port of Tilbury, The Army, Impulse Leisure, South Essex College, The Royal Society of Chemistry, and PixelWork.
A free bus service is available for residents in Thurrock to bring them to and from the Civic Hall.
