Lakeside names the winners of this year's Retailer Awards

MORE than 3,000 people voted to name their winners at Lakeside Shopping Centre’s fourth annual Retailer Awards.
The winners included Primark, which was voted the shop voters “couldn’t live without” while Boots picked up the gong for “Friendliest Staff” for the second year running.
The Disney Store topped the “Family Friendly” category and Accessorize was selected for “wow factor” window displays.
Apple, Marks and Spencer, and Costa Coffee all picked up two awards each at the glitzy ceremony hosted by Martin and Su from Heart Essex FM.
Kylie Minor, Lakeside’s acting marketing manager, said: “This was the fourth year that we’ve rewarded our shops and restaurants in this way and, once again, it was a fantastic night.
“We were delighted that so many shoppers chose to vote as it proves that they truly appreciate the great service and wide range of shops that we are lucky to have here at Lakeside.”
