Teenager robbed of mobile

DETECTIVES have appealed for information after a robbery in Chafford Hundred.

The 18-year-old victim was in an alleyway behind Tesco in Merlin Close when he was pushed over and had his mobile phone taken on Saturday at 12.30pm.

Two suspects were involved who grabbed a black iPhone 4 that the victim, who lives locally, had been holding in his hand.

They ran off towards Drake Road. The victim was shaken, but unharmed.

The main suspect was said to be white, aged 19 or 20, large, about 6ft 2ins tall and wearing a grey tracksuit and black trainers.

The victim did not see the second suspect to give any kind of description.
