Bicycle stolen from garden

POLICE are appealing for information after a bike was stolen from a garden in Grays.

The Claude Butler mountain bike was taken from a house in Sedge Court, in the Thurrock Park area, between 1.15pm and 1.25pm on Thursday, August 30, after the thief climbed over a garden gate.

The owner is offering a reward for its return.

A spokesman for Essex Police said: “Police have interviewed two people in connection with the offence.

“A 59-year-old man was interviewed on Saturday, September 1, while an 11-year-old boy was interviewed the following day.

“Inquiries are continuing and anyone with information is asked to contact PC David Bean on 101.”

Wow ...... I am just wondering why this is in the paper? My Claude Butler was stolen from Blackshots Leisure centre and nothing was done about it, the old bill were even told it was in the view of a CCTV camera, but still nothing!
