4:57pm

FULL TIME: EAST THURROCK UNITED 1 - 1 KINGSTONIAN

4:56pm

Full time: Aveley have drawn 2-2 with Maldon & Tiptree.

4:53pm

Oh my word. More refereeing drama.

It's a straight red card for Riley. Small was clean through on goal, Riley came out and swung for the ball, but was beaten to it by Small who shot at goal. As it bounced in - and it did go in - the referee blew for the free kick and sent Riley off.

ETU down to nine men. Kingstonian furious.

4:51pm

At the other end, Kingstonian have another goal disallowed. Small has the ball in the net after rounding the keeper, but he was adjudged to have moved too early.

4:50pm

Good football from ETU.

Sam Higgins, who is looking quite tired, picks up a long ball, is forced away from goal a touch but unleashes a fierce shot that the keeper just about tips wide.

4:46pm

Kingstonian sub: Wade Small on for Matt Pattison

4:45pm

It's been a bitty second half. No clear cut chances for a while. This could go either way.

4:45pm

Harrow 4 - 1 Thurrock

4:44pm

Waltham Forest 0 - 3 Grays Athletic (Carlos 78)

4:44pm

Aveley 2 - 2 Maldon & Tiptree

4:43pm

Kingstonian: Ofusu Henze on for Murray.

4:42pm

Aveley down to 10 men. Ellis Sands send off for a professional foul.

4:41pm

Brentwood 0 - 1 Tilbury (Wraight 80')

4:40pm

Great football from ETU sees Sammons go close.

Gilbey takes a quick free kick outwide to Sammons. He exchanges passes with Newby, before going into the box, taking on the defender and unleashing a strong shot. It's pushed away by Tolfrey.

4:37pm

Attendance here 224

4:37pm

Waltham Forest 0 - 2 Grays Athletic

James Bunn 70'

4:36pm

Sankon goes close for Kingstonian with a well struck shot from 25 yards. It's palmed away by Jamie Riley.

4:35pm

ETU the better side at the moment. More possession and more territory. Lacking a final ball though.

Spencer Harrison has gone to centre half, with Kye Ruel out on the left and Higgins up top on his own.

4:32pm

Well, we've got some football again at Rookery Hill.

A bizarre second half.

Both sides down to 10. A proper goal and a disallowed goal.

Kingstonian sub: Lambu on for Lodge.

4:30pm

ETU sub: Spencer Harrison on for Sam Collins

4:28pm

Aveley 2 - 1 Maldon and Tiptree

4:27pm

Oh dear, it's all kicked off.

Andre Collins has just been given a straight red following a fracas with Steve Sheehan.

It was a poor challenge initially by Sheehah, which provoked a response from Collins (a head butt)

He was dismissed and Sheehan picked up a second yellow for the tackle.

Both sides down to ten men!

4:25pm

It's a tap in for Ruel after a nice sweeping attack by the Rocks. Collins launched a ball wide to Higgins, who held the ball up. His cross was good, and Collins then headed down for Ruel to tap in.

4:22pm

GOAL! EAST THURROCK UNITED 1 - 1 KINGSTONIAN

Ruel 16'

4:21pm

Wonderful effort by Gilbey goes just wide.

Some good possession from ETU but they were struggling to thread a ball through or strike at goal.

And just as it looked like the chance had gone after he was tackled, Gilbey struck the loose ball just wide.

4:16pm

Harrow Borough 4 - 0 Thurrock

4:15pm

It's been a much more assured start to the second half so far from ETU.

Dean Lodge has just been completely walloped off the ball by Kris Newby. He was running at Ryan Sammons, cut inside and Newby came across to floor him with, what the referee can only have deemed, a "fair" shoulder barge. Madness.

4:12pm

Sam Higgins has just absolutley smacked a free kick from 20-yards. I think it was heading in, but it hits Kye Ruel. That must have hurt.

Great start to the second period here.

4:11pm

Kingstonian have an early goal disallowed. Foul given against Andre McCollin for jumping unfairly with the goal keeper. The ball had been hanging in the air after a failed clearance following a corner.

4:08pm

We're off!

4:07pm

We're just about set for the restart here.

We're running slightly behind schedule here following a minutes silence before the game.

3:54pm

HALF TIME

East Thurrock Utd 0 - 1 Kingstonian

Lodge for Kingstonian on 29 minutes.

Elsewhere, it's:

Harrow Borough 3 - 0 Thurrock

Brentwood 0 - 0 Tilbury

Aveley 1 - 1 Maldon and Tiptree

Waltham Forest 0 - 1 Grays Athletic

3:52pm

East Thurrock have a goal disallowed. A low free kick was put into the box by Gilbey. The goal keeper was fooled as the ball struck Sheehan, who, surprised to see the ball at his feet, put the ball in the net. But the linesman flagged for offside.

After a lengthy chat with his assistant, the referee gave the free kick for offside.

3:46pm

The corner's a good one,  whipped into a dangerous area, but it misses everyone and flies out for a goal kick.

3:44pm

Good chance for ETU, amid some Kingstonian panic in the box.

They failed to clear their lines and Higgins unleashed a low volley from 12 yards on the angle, that was blocked by a Kingstonian boot on its way through to the keeper, Tolfrey.

Corner now.

3:41pm

Some controversy anyway. And no denying it was a great move and a great effort. ETU fans not convinced. The referee wasn't sure, but the linesman flagged immediately.

Kingstonian have had a few chances, so it had been coming. Still a close game though.

3:38pm

It's a great goal. Or is it?

Dean Lodge collected a clever through ball, jinked inside of Sheehan and from the edge of the area, just to the left of the goal, Lodge unleashed a superb curling effort. It definitley hit the bar and the inside of the post but did it cross the line? The linesman says it did.

1-0 here.

3:35pm

GOAL! EAST THURROCK UNITED 0 - 1 KINGSTONIAN

3:32pm

Higgins has just gone close and feels he should have had a corner.

Gilbey collected a poor Kingstonian corner, played a long ball early which Higgins battled to won.

With defender hot on his tail, he ran into the box and appeared to scuff his cross-goal shot, which he claims took a deflection.Goal-kick given though.

3:31pm

3:29pm

Aveley 1 - 1 Maldon & Tiptree. Equaliser by Berquez after 23'.

3:29pm

Another squandered chance from Kingstonian, and from Andre McCollin.

Aaron Good played a terrific through ball, McCollin picked it up, burst clear of Stephen, but his weak effort trickled toward goal and was blocked by Riley, who gathered.

3:27pm

Karl Murray is booked for Kingstonian. Not sure why though. Off the ball incident I suspect.

3:26pm

Thurrock are now 3-0 down at Harrow Borough, within 16 minutes.

Terrible start for Stimson.

3:25pm

Relatively quiet here, apart from a clang of Kingstonians behind Riley's goal.

Spoke to soon!

Great chance for Kingstonian and a great save by Riley. Andre McCollin was put through on goal, chased by Stephen who shot just inside the box. Riley leapt to his right and pushed it behind.

I say pushed, i'm not sure how much he knew about it. I think it hit him in the face...

Great stop all the same.

3:22pm

In the meantime, Thurrock are now 2-0 down to Harrow Borough.

And Grays Athletic are 1-0 up. Daniel Bunce converts the spot kick.

3:20pm

Grays have a penalty at Waltham Forest...

3:19pm

Dean Lodge, the Kingstonian left winger is quick and looks like he could cause Ryan Sammons some problems this afternoon. He's just done well to wriggle clear of Sammons and plant a cross which Stephen cleared.

3:17pm

Harrow Borough 1 - 0 Thurrock (Wooleaston 9')

3:16pm

Poor defending from ETU leads to a freekick in a super position for Kingstonian. Stephen's clearance went straight to Pattison who ran at the defence, evaded the tackle from Gilbey before being taken down on the edge of the box by Sheehan.

Pattison's effort goes mighty close, skimming the top of the bar with Riley beaten.

3:12pm

Gilbey, the Rocks captain, then goes close from a free-kick. 25 yards from goal, to the right of the goal, his right footed effort goes just over!

3:11pm

Good chance for Kingstonian though.

Matt Pattison fires in a low free kick from the right. Kieron Murphy does well to control it and make space for himself, before scuffing his shot.

3:10pm

Kingstonian, on the other hand, haven't started too well. A few miss-placed passes. ETU looking the sharper early on.

Epitomised by Sam Collins at left midfield just closing quickly on the Kingstonian right-back Aaron Good.

3:07pm

ETU have started this game well, too.

Good run down the right from Newby, but his cross beats everyone.

3:06pm

Dadson with the goal for Aveley after two minutes!

3:06pm

Aveley  1 - 0 Maldon and Tiptree.

Great start to the season for Gardner's men.

3:04pm

Lively start to the game.

Kingstonian got us underway and were immediately chased down by ETU, who have proceeded to play some neat football in the early stages. One cross from the right beat everyone, but plenty of early possession.

3:02pm
