DARTS stars Adrian Lewis and Raymond van Barneveld will go head to head at the Circus Tavern next month.

The heavyweights will be battling it out at the popular Purfleet venue on September 14, at the event, which is sponsored by John Smiths.

Lewis, pictured below, is a two time World Darts Champion, a title he holds currently, was nicknamed Jackpot after he won a casino jackpot while competing at the 2005 Las Vegas Desert Classic, but was unable to claim the money as he was under-age by US gaming laws.

Lewis, from Stoke-on-Trent, made his TV debut at the UK Open aged 19 in 2004.

He was multi-world champion Phil Taylor’s protege until 2007.

Dutch player Raymond van Barneveld, pictured above, is a five time world champion, a two time UK Open Champion and a former winner of the Las Vegas Desert Classic, as well as winning the World Masters twice.

VIP tickets for the event cost £25, with normal tickets at £20, plus booking fee.

A ticket not only gets you in to see Lewis v Barneveld, but also Wayne Mardle v Colin Lloyd and darts legend Bobby George v Keith Deller.

Special guest will be Eric Bristow, one of the most well-known names in the sport.

Call the Circus Tavern box office on 01708 863838.
