I say worry about building up your newfound community over there for you quit the one you originitated from in the place, ask Canadians how they feel about you being there, worry about that....This robbery only exposes the lack of security and how those responsible for said security are not up to the task. Let those who still believe in the greatness of this nation and live in it, immigrants or not, worry and work towards its future.
Obviously not the quiet place I left back in 1986. West Thurrock will always be home to me, and I fear for the safety of my mother at times because it has changed so very much from what I understand. I haven't been home for 27 yrs and sadly I don't think I will ever want to come home. I hope the council will make some changes to make the community safer. I hate to say it being an immigrant myself (In Canada), but the insane amount of immigrants in Thurrock has made a negative impact on the community

Let's hope that Essex Police catch them and they are locked up for a considerable amount of time.

To be fair to Lakeside, even if security was stepped up, it would still not deter criminals out there willing to take the risk.
Let's hope that Essex Police catch them and they are locked up for a considerable amount of time.
