Tavern to Let the Good Times Roll

THE Circus Tavern in Purfleet is inviting you to step back in time and Let The Good Times Roll on Saturday, July 14.
The show begins with a group of old age pensioners in a bar reminiscing about the good old days.
Way back then, they were in a band performing with the Beatles, Buddy Holly and other greats.
They long to go back to that time, just to do it all once more and they soon get their wish.
A spokesman for the show said: “'It’s a wonderfully unique live production that pays a memorable tribute to some of the greatest, deeply adored acts of the 1950s and 1960s.
“As well as a journey through time to hear the fantastic music, the show will feature pictures, newspaper cuttings and many historic facts that help remember those great times.
“This production also offers a chance to feel young again.
“So put your gladrags on because this is one trip you will never forget.”
If reggae is more your thing, the venue has a real treat for you on Saturday, August 25, with a Bob Marley tribute night.
The event is on from 7pm to 1am, and will feature disco with a resident DJ, and a two course meal.
A spokesman for the tribute night said: “This is going to be a great night guys and girls, so come on down and grind the night away!”
The dress code is smart casual and no sports wear, hoodies, or trainers are allowed.
