The kitten
THIS beautiful kitten needs a good home after a heartless thug hurled it out of a moving van into the road.
Jeanette Emery was picking her daughter up from school in Tank Hill Road, Purfleet, when a white van in front of her slowed down and threw out a black adult cat and the kitten.
The kitten landed on the grass at the roadside, but the black cat went under the van and was killed as the callous driver sped off.
Ms Emery, who rescued the kitten from the roadside, was sickened by what she saw.
She said: “I was so shocked by what I saw, I thought I’ve got to go and get the kitten.
“I’ve taken the kitten home to look after it until a good home can be found, but I can’t keep it as I have a cat of my own who is a bit jealous.”
She added: “The kitten is doing well and has started eating cat food and using the toilet tray.”
Ms Emery doesn’t know how old the kitten is, or if it is a boy or a girl.
If you can give the kitten a good home, call Ms Emery on 07947 641974.
