Pensioner in her 80s targeted by cruel thieves

A WOMAN in her 80s was targeted by cruel thieves.
The woman was walking on Corringham Road, near to the junction with Burgess Avenue, in Stanford-le-Hope when the incident happened.
She was approached by a man who placed a chain around her neck but, while the woman was shocked, without realising the man swiftly removed the victim's two real gold chains.
The incident happened at 2.30pm on Wednesday June 13.
