Auditions set for Thameside panto
8:00am Saturday 16th June 2012 in News
AUDITIONS for the Cinderella panto at the Thameside Theatre this Christmas are being held next Saturday (June 23).
Young people aged eight to 18 are being urged to go along and try out for a role in the chorus, even if they have no singing or acting experience.
Polka Dot Productions is at the helm of the Grays theatre’s pantomine once again, and is looking for between 18 and 24 youngsters for the show, which will run for 55 performances between Friday, December 7, and Sunday, January 6.
Sucessful auditionees will form three teams of six to eight, performing on alternate days of the show’s run, alongside the show’s professional principle actors.
Children will need permission to be released from school for some performances.
Auditions will be held at the Thameside, in Orsett Road, from 10am to 1pm.
For an audition pack call Polka Dot on 01775 712359.
