Orsett Hall gets restaurant honour

THE Orsett Hall has become only the second hotel in Essex to be awarded two prestigious AA rosettes for its restaurant.
The well respected scheme sees an inspector visit the establishment to judge the food.
Two rosettes are awarded to “excellent restaurants that aim for and achieve higher standards and better consistency” and just 40 per cent of restaurants and hotels in the AA Restaurant Guide have achieved the accolade.
The hotel’s head chef, Jonathan Green, said: “We are delighted to receive such a prestigious award.
“Orsett Hall is a fabulous building in a beautiful setting with a passionate and dedicated team, and we are all excited about the future.”
