DANCERS at a Thurrock performing arts schools were visited by a star from hit TV show Got To Dance.

Belle Fisher, a semi-finalist in this year’s dance competition on Sky, held a workshop for dancers at JTD of Performing Arts, showcasing sublime street dance moves and passing on some of her wisdom. Belle, 14, was described as “the most promising young street dancer this country has to offer” by Ashley Banjo, one of the show’s judges.

The day, hosted at JTD’s Grays studio, also saw professional dancer Toni Harris hold a workshop in the morning.

Vickki Jarmyn-Purvis, who runs JTD, which has five dance schools across Thurrock, said: “We were very pleased to have Belle here and felt privileged she offered her expertise to our school.”

The school has more workshops with talented dancers planned.
