Opera to be screened at production park
7:20am Sunday 6th May 2012 in News
PURFLEET is set to host a screening of opera live from Covent Garden.
A trip to see the ballet or the opera can be expensive, when costs for tickets, rail fares, car parking food and drink are totted up.
However the Royal Opera House is putting on a live screening of it’s opera ‘La bohème’ at the High House Production Park, Purfleet.
The outdoor screening, which will be broadcast live from the Opera House on 17 May at 7.30pm, is free to anyone living in Thurrock.
‘La bohème’ is Opera’s “greatest” love story, telling the tale of a struggling poet whose life changes forever, after meeting a beautiful fragile young woman.
