Fun events mark Jubilee in village

ORSETT is gearing up to make the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee a day to remember.
The celebration committee has lined up four fun events for Monday, June 4.
There will be a three-mile fun run, the ever popular Orsett Bed Push in silly costumes, a street party for 150 children, with face painters and entertainment, and an evening of festivities and food in the village’s three pubs, the Whitmore Arms, the Foxhound and the Kings Arms.
