STANFORD-le-Hope’s international hurdler Hayley McLean cut the ribbon to officially open the latest business in her home town – and it’s somewhere she’ll get to know very quickly!

Seventeen-year-old McLean – who represents Great Britain at junior level at 400m hurdles – was joined by fellow youth internationals Sophie Riches, 16, from Rayleigh, and Joshua Olawore, 17, from Aveley, to open the Cedar Hall osteopathy clinic in King Street.

All three young athletes are sponsored by Cedar Hall Clinics, which also has a base in Thundersley, and it is where they go to remedy any niggles and strains.

The clinic is headed up by directors and senior osteopaths Sara Lovett and Jacki Milne.
