c2c is tops - yet again!

C2C has been named the most punctual rail company in the UK yet again.

The National Express operator, which runs train services in Thurrock, saw 96.8 per cent of trains arrive on time from March 2011 to March 2012.

The figure is five per cent above the UK-wide average.

There are lies, damm lies, statistics and then c2c punctuality figures.

On time in my book dosent mean upto 5 minutes late on a 35 minute journey.

If C2C is so wonderful, can they tell me why, back in 2001 with the 1970 slam door trains, Fenchurch St to Grays was 30 minutes. Now it's 36 minutes, if your lucky in the new trains, thats how to pad out a timetable!

ha! Shouldn't this story have begun with "Once Upon a Time" ... you have got to be kidding, the reason why they say they are punctual is if the train is running late they take it out of service and dump all of the passengers on a platform to wait for another train - then they don't have to count the "late" train. This happens a lot.
