THURROCK Council wants to hear residents’ views about planning.
The council took over planning functions from Thurrock Thames Gateway Development Corporation at the start of the month, and is now keen to hear the thoughts of local people on the different development sites in the borough.
As well as holding an online consultation on its website, the council’s strategic planning team will be at Grays Library, in Orsett Road, on Monday from 10am to 4pm, and at Blackshots Library at the same time on Tuesday.
On Wednesday the team will be at Corringham Library, in St John’s Way, from 10.30am to 4pm, and at Lakeside Retail Park on Thursday, outside B&Q from 9.30am to 12.30pm and by Sports Direct 1pm to 4pm.
